- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour

- 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup crushed peppermint candies
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cream the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar together in a large mixing bowl until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing well until combined.
- In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined.
- Fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips, white chocolate chips, and crushed peppermint candies.
- Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each cookie.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden and the centers look slightly underbaked.
- Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
Notes
Use room temperature butter for easier creaming and a better texture. Don’t overmix the dough; this keeps the cookies soft and chewy.
