Ingredients
1/2 cup unsalted butter (1 stick),
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice (about 1 lemon),
1 teaspoon lemon zest, 1 clove garlic, minced (optional),
1 tablespoon fresh parsley,
chopped (optional),
Salt, to taste,
Freshly ground black pepper, to taste.
Instructions
- Melt the Butter: In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Be careful not to let it brown.
- Add the Lemon: Once the butter is melted, whisk in the lemon juice and lemon zest.
- Optional Garlic and Herbs: If using garlic, add it now and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant. Stir in the chopped parsley if desired.
- Season: Add salt and pepper to taste. You can adjust the lemon juice or zest for more brightness.
- Serve: Pour the sauce over lobster or serve as a dipping sauce. Garnish with additional fresh parsley or lemon slices if desired.
Notes
Customization: If you prefer a tangier sauce, add more lemon juice or zest.
Butter Alternative: For a lighter version, you can substitute some or all of the butter with olive oil.
Storage: This sauce is best served immediately, but it can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat gently before serving.
