- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 cup finely chopped vegetables (e.g., cabbage, carrots, mushrooms)
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooking oil for baking
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine the flour and water. Stir until a soft dough forms.
- Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead it for a few minutes until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, mix the finely chopped vegetables with soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper.
- Divide the dough into small balls and roll each one into a thin circle.
- Place a spoonful of the vegetable filling in the center of each circle. Fold and seal tightly.
- Set the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking sheet with a little cooking oil.
- Arrange the dumplings on the baking sheet and lightly brush them with oil. Bake for about 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
Notes
Don’t rush the dough; knead well for the best texture. Feel free to customize the filling with your favorite vegetables.
