  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Combine the melted butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, ginger, cinnamon, cloves, salt, and vanilla extract in a mixing bowl. Stir until well blended.
  3. Add the pecans to the bowl and mix until they are fully coated in the sugary spice mixture.
  4. Spread the pecans in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Toast the pecans in the oven for about 10-12 minutes, stirring halfway through to ensure they brown evenly.
  6. Remove the pecans from the oven and let them cool completely. They will become crispier as they cool.
