Savory Pistachio-Crusted Brie Bites

Elegant and simple, these Savory Pistachio-Crusted Brie Bites feature warm, melted Brie enveloped in flaky pastry and topped with crunchy pistachios.

Ingredients

  • 1 wheel of Brie cheese (about 226g or 8 oz)
  • 1 cup pistachios (finely chopped; approximately 150g)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary (chopped)
  • 1 sheet puff pastry (thawed)
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Honey (optional, for drizzling)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface and cut it into squares large enough to wrap around a wedge of Brie (about 4 inches by 4 inches).
  3. Place a piece of Brie in the center of each pastry square.
  4. In a small bowl, mix together the finely chopped pistachios and chopped rosemary.
  5. Sprinkle the pistachio mixture generously over the Brie, covering the top.
  6. Fold the pastry over the Brie to seal it and pinch the edges to secure.
  7. In a small bowl, whisk the egg and use it as an egg wash by brushing it over the wrapped Brie bites.
  8. Place the bites on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until they are golden brown.
  9. Remove from the oven and drizzle with honey, if desired, while they’re still warm.
  10. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

Can be prepared in advance and refrigerated. Best served warm but can be enjoyed at room temperature.
