- 1 can Pillsbury Crescent Rolls
- 3/4 cup chopped pecans
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup light corn syrup
- 2 Tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
- 1 large egg
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, combine sugar, corn syrup, melted butter, vanilla extract, and egg. Reserve 2 tablespoons for later.
- Stir in the chopped pecans until coated.
- Unroll crescent dough and place triangles on the baking sheet. Spoon 2-3 tablespoons of the pecan filling onto each triangle and roll up.
- Bake rolls for 8 minutes until they begin to set.
- Brush with reserved sugar mixture and bake for an additional 5 minutes until golden brown.
- Optionally, sprinkle additional pecans on top before serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, toast the pecans before adding to the filling. You may also use pre-made pecan pie filling.
