Pecan Pie Crescent Rolls

A delightful twist on classic pecan pie, these crescent rolls are easy to make and perfect for any gathering.

  • 1 can Pillsbury Crescent Rolls
  • 3/4 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup light corn syrup
  • 2 Tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, combine sugar, corn syrup, melted butter, vanilla extract, and egg. Reserve 2 tablespoons for later.
  3. Stir in the chopped pecans until coated.
  4. Unroll crescent dough and place triangles on the baking sheet. Spoon 2-3 tablespoons of the pecan filling onto each triangle and roll up.
  5. Bake rolls for 8 minutes until they begin to set.
  6. Brush with reserved sugar mixture and bake for an additional 5 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Optionally, sprinkle additional pecans on top before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, toast the pecans before adding to the filling. You may also use pre-made pecan pie filling.
