Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a madeleine pan with butter.
  2. Melt the butter and let it cool slightly.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together eggs and granulated sugar until pale and frothy.
  4. Mix in the vanilla extract and melted butter.
  5. In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  6. Spoon the batter into the madeleine pan, filling each mold about three-quarters full.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden.
  8. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before gently removing the cookies from the pan.
