- 1 baguette (cut into 1” slices, about 10 pieces)
- 10 teaspoons pesto
- 10 mozzarella slices
- 10 basil leaves
- 5 cherry tomatoes (halved and mixed with olive oil)
- 3 kalamata olives (quartered)
- Sesame seeds
- Black sesame seeds
Instructions
- Spread a teaspoon of pesto on each baguette slice.
- Place a mozzarella slice on top of the pesto.
- Add a basil leaf next to the mozzarella slice.
- Top each bruschetta with ½ cherry tomato and ¼ of a kalamata olive.
- Sprinkle 5 black sesame seeds on top of the cherry tomatoes and 2 sesame seeds on top of the olive to create the eyes.
Notes
Serve immediately for the best taste and presentation. Store leftovers in an airtight container but assemble fresh for optimal texture.
