- 4 cups Honeycomb Cereal
- 1 cup salted peanuts
- 1 cup mini marshmallows
- 1/2 cup real honey
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Line an 8×8-inch pan with parchment paper or lightly butter it.
- Melt the butter and honey together in a medium saucepan over low heat, stirring until smooth.
- Stir in the vanilla extract, then remove the pan from the heat.
- Add the mini marshmallows to the warm honey-butter, stirring until the marshmallows soften and mix in evenly.
- Transfer the cereal and salted peanuts to a large bowl.
- Pour the marshmallow mixture over the cereal and peanuts and fold gently with a spatula until everything is coated.
- Press the mixture firmly into the prepared pan using a spatula or lightly buttered hands.
- Let cool at room temperature for about 30 minutes, then slice into squares and serve.
Notes
Use fresh marshmallows for the best melt and stick. Press the mixture evenly to help squares hold their shape.
