- 2 lbs beef chuck or sirloin, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 4 tablespoons garlic butter, melted
- 1 lb baby potatoes, halved
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
Instructions
- Prepare the beef by cutting it into bite-sized pieces and seasoning with salt, black pepper, dried thyme, and garlic powder.
- Place the chopped onion and halved baby potatoes at the bottom of your slow cooker for a delicious base.
- Add the seasoned beef on top of the potatoes and onions.
- Pour the melted garlic butter and beef broth over the ingredients in the slow cooker.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours until the beef is tender.
- Serve warm, savoring all the flavors that have melded together.
Notes
Sear the beef first for enhanced flavor. Use a good quality beef broth for the best taste.
