Ingredients
Scale
- 12 oz cheese ravioli, frozen or fresh
- 2 cups neutral oil (for frying), such as vegetable or canola
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese, finely grated
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 cup marinara sauce, warmed for dipping
Instructions
- Heat the oil in a deep pan or pot over medium-high heat until it reaches about 350°F (175°C).
- Pat fresh ravioli dry with paper towels; if using frozen ravioli, keep them frozen (no thawing).
- Fry the ravioli in small batches so they don’t touch. Slide them gently into the hot oil.
- Fry until the ravioli are golden and crisp, about 2–3 minutes per batch for frozen, or 1–2 minutes for fresh. Turn once if needed.
- Remove the ravioli with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
- Sprinkle the hot ravioli with grated Parmesan and chopped parsley while they’re still warm.
- Serve immediately with warmed marinara sauce for dipping.
Notes
Don’t overcrowd the pan for best results. Fry immediately for maximum crunch.
