Fried Ravioli 2025 12 25 122910 150x150 1

Crispy Fried Ravioli

A quick and indulgent snack that features golden, crispy pockets of cheese served with a warm marinara dip.

  • Total Time: 15 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 oz cheese ravioli, frozen or fresh
  • 2 cups neutral oil (for frying), such as vegetable or canola
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese, finely grated
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 cup marinara sauce, warmed for dipping

Instructions

  1. Heat the oil in a deep pan or pot over medium-high heat until it reaches about 350°F (175°C).
  2. Pat fresh ravioli dry with paper towels; if using frozen ravioli, keep them frozen (no thawing).
  3. Fry the ravioli in small batches so they don’t touch. Slide them gently into the hot oil.
  4. Fry until the ravioli are golden and crisp, about 2–3 minutes per batch for frozen, or 1–2 minutes for fresh. Turn once if needed.
  5. Remove the ravioli with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
  6. Sprinkle the hot ravioli with grated Parmesan and chopped parsley while they’re still warm.
  7. Serve immediately with warmed marinara sauce for dipping.

Notes

Don’t overcrowd the pan for best results. Fry immediately for maximum crunch.
