  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate, melted (for dipping)
  • Powdered sugar (optional, for dusting)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a madeleine pan.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, sugar, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix the melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract.
  4. Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet, mixing until just combined.
  5. Spoon the batter into the prepared madeleine pan, filling each mold about 3/4 full.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden.
  7. Allow to cool for a few minutes, then gently remove from the pan.
  8. Dip each madeleine in melted dark chocolate and set on a wire rack to harden.
  9. Dust with powdered sugar before serving, if desired.
