Ingredients
Scale
- 12 slices Salami (large enough to wrap)
- 8 ounces Cream cheese, softened
- 2 teaspoons Dry chives
- 2 teaspoons Dry onion (onion powder)
- 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
- Pepper, to taste
- Green olives (optional for garnish)
- Pretzels (optional for serving)
Instructions
- Soften the cream cheese: leave it at room temperature for 15–20 minutes or microwave in 10-second bursts until soft but not melted.
- Mix the filling: stir the softened cream cheese with dry chives, dry onion, garlic powder, and black pepper until smooth and even.
- Spread the filling: place a salami slice flat on a board and spread about 1 to 1½ teaspoons of the cream cheese mixture over the slice, leaving a small edge.
- Roll the salami: roll each salami slice tightly around the filling and set seam-side down on a plate.
- Chill briefly: refrigerate for 10 minutes to help them hold shape, or serve right away if in a rush.
- Garnish and serve: add a green olive or a pickle slice on top if using, and serve with pretzels for crunch.
Notes
Use fully softened cream cheese for easy mixing and smooth spreading. Chill briefly before serving for best results.
