Instructions
- Crush the cakes: Place the Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cakes in a bowl and use a fork to crumble them into fine pieces.
- Melt the chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate or candy melts in 30-second increments until smooth, stirring in between.
- Combine: Add the crumbled cake to the melted chocolate and mix until fully combined.
- Shape the truffles: Using your hands, roll the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
- Chill: Place the truffles on a parchment-lined baking sheet and refrigerate for about 30 minutes until they firm up.
- Decorate: Melt the red candy melts if using. Dip each truffle in the white chocolate or drizzle with red candy melts. Top with festive sprinkles and green sanding sugar.
- Serve: Allow the coating to set before serving the truffles to your friends and family.
