- 1 package of refrigerated pie crusts
- 1 cup cherry pie filling
- 1 egg (for egg wash)

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Dust your surface with flour to prevent sticking and roll out the pie crusts, if needed.
- Cut circles from the pie crust using a large cookie cutter or the rim of a glass (about 4-5 inches in diameter).
- Spoon a small amount of cherry pie filling onto one half of each circle, leaving some space around the edges.
- Fold the dough over the filling to create a half-moon shape, then press the edges to seal. Use a fork to crimp the edges for an extra decorative touch.
- Brush the tops of the pies with egg wash and sprinkle with sugar for a touch of sweetness.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
Notes
Use cold pie crusts for the flakiest texture. Don’t overfill the pies to avoid bursting during baking. Experiment with various fillings for more variety.
