- 1 cup macaroni
- 1 can chili (with or without beans)
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional toppings: green onions, sour cream
Instructions
- Cook macaroni according to package instructions, drain and set aside.
- In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Pour in the can of chili and milk; stir until well combined and heated through.
- Add the cooked macaroni to the chili mixture and stir until coated.
- Fold in the shredded cheese until melted and creamy.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve hot, with optional toppings if desired.
Notes
Drain pasta well to avoid excess moisture. Use cheeses that melt easily for best results.
