Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Prepare the breading by mixing breadcrumbs, 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in a shallow dish.
  3. Beat the eggs in another bowl.
  4. Dip each chicken breast into the eggs, coating well, then dredge in the breadcrumb mixture, ensuring they are thoroughly coated.
  5. Heat olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.
  6. Add the breaded chicken breasts and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.

  8. Meanwhile, in a medium saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.
  9. Sauté the minced garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  10. Whisk in the flour and cook for 1-2 minutes, then slowly add milk (or half-and-half), whisking continuously until the sauce thickens.
  11. Stir in 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, adding salt and pepper to taste, then remove from heat.
