- 1 can of biscuits
- 1 pound breakfast sausage
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup gravy (homemade or store-bought)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the breakfast sausage in a skillet over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat if needed.
- Cut the biscuit dough into quarters and set aside.
- Whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Layer the biscuits in the bottom of a greased baking dish.
- Spread the cooked sausage evenly over the biscuits.
- Pour the egg mixture over the biscuits and sausage, then sprinkle the cheese on top.
- Drizzle the gravy evenly over the casserole.
- Bake in the oven for 30-35 minutes or until the eggs are set and the top is golden brown.
Notes
Use fresh biscuits for the best texture. Consider adding spices or veggies for added flavor.
