- 1 ripe banana
- 1 cup (240 ml) milk (or milk alternative)
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- Pinch of salt
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 shot of espresso
Instructions
- In a blender, combine the ripe banana, milk, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, and vanilla extract. Blend until smooth.
- Pour the banana mixture into a saucepan and heat it over medium heat, stirring occasionally until warm.
- Brew your shot of espresso while the banana mixture heats.
- Pour the banana milk mixture into your favorite mug and top with the fresh espresso.
- Add a sprinkle of cinnamon or a dollop of whipped cream for extra decadence.
Notes
You can prepare the banana milk mixture and store it in the fridge for a few days. Just reheat before serving!
